Asus has unveiled its ultra book, Zenbook UX3, which it claims is the thinnest ultra-book on the market. This Asus Ultra-book, which has a thickness of 0.11-inches front and 0.67-inches in the rear, will be available in 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch varieties.
The laptops will have thickness of 0.11 inch and 0.67 inch at the rear. The laptop is being perceived as the slimmest laptop across the global markets.
For those who are interested in buying it, would have to make a payment of Rs 89,999. The laptop is easy to carry as it weighs 1.4kg alone and is powered by a core i7 processor. Besides, it also has 4GB RAM, 256GB hard disk and a chiclet style keyboard. The ZENBOOK comes with an instant-on feature that supposedly resume the system for about 2 seconds and has a standby time of up to ten days. Asus Ultra-book using the latest Intel second generation Core processors (optimized for mobile use), SATA revision 3.0 solid state storage to 256 GB (SSD), Bluetooth V4.0 and USB 3.0. ASUS has also added USB Charger + technology that uses USB 3.0 port to charge your portable device.
ASUS engineers have developed a custom cooling technology with a V-shaped channel with a unique copper surface design for supposedly better air flow and cooling. When the battery life dips below 5 percent, said it ZENBOOK to automatically save files in time to prevent data loss.
Ultra-Book also uses ASUS 'proprietary Super Hybrid Engine II technology, which supposedly saves battery life and lets ZENBOOK to have up to 25 percent more battery life than other Ultra Book design.
Each Zenbook also ASUS sonic master technology, a fusion of hardware and software developed by ASUS Golden Ear team and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
