All India Engineering entrance examination (AIEEE) is an all-India common entrance examination for access to engineering and architecture and planning programs at undergraduate level. Survey conducted annually by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India.
Candidates qualifying AIEEE can seek admission to universities and institutions all over India for BE, BTech, costume or BPlanning courses. Government of India has adopted a resolution on 18 Vide October 2001 for three exams - JEE and AIEEE at the national level and state level engineering entrance examination (SLEEE) for state institutions - with the opportunity to participate in AIEEE for access to engineering and architecture / planning programs.
AIEEE was introduced in 2002 to gain access to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score.
10. All India Engineering entrance examination (AIEEE) madethe first May 2011. Total 1053807 candidates appeared in the survey out of 1114541 registered candidates. The written exam was conducted in 1685 centers in 86 cities.
Application Procedure:
The electronic submission of information can be made on site www.aieee.nic.in. Candidates must provide all necessary information while filling out the online form. By submitting information, a confirmation page with a registration number will be generated. Applicants must print the confirmation page and paste photographs, put left thumb impression, signs in the space earmarked for the purpose, and write down the address. The confirmation page will be sent by registered / Speed Post to CBSE (not by courier) to "The Joint Secretary (AIEEE Unit) Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi 110 092" along with original Demand Draft (if paid by Demand Draft) for further processing so as to get at least 05/01/2012. Applications received after this date will not be accepted. Payment can be made as follows.
- by credit / debit cards or
- Demand Draft from any scheduled commercial banks

Exam time for paper 1 has been scheduled at 9:30 AM to 12:30 Noon and 2PM to 5 PM for Paper 2.

- Exam timing has been divided into two shifts – 9AM to 12 Noon and 2 PM to 5 PM.
Language of the Question Papers:
Candidates can choose the question papers either in English or in Hindi (that will be bilingual in Hindi & English both) for offline and online examination while submitting online application form for www.aieee.nic.in 2012.
AIEEE 2012 Online Application Form:
Qualified candidates can complete the online application form: http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/online/ApplicationForm.aspx for the 2012th AIEEE Candidates must complete the basic details of AIEEE 2012 exam, their personal details, educational qualifications, contact information and guardian details.
They can fill www.aieee.nic.in 2012 Online application form by 31 December 2011. Applicants will have their registration fill AIEEE Online application form to the 2012th
After submitting your online application, they can continue to make payment of examination fees. Candidates can make payment by Demand Draft or ATM card / credit card. They can make payment for AIEEE 2012 visit: http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/Online/makepayment.aspx, and state registration number and date of birth.
Candidates will receive a link confirmation page to the last step. They need to get the conformation page and paste two recent passport size photographs. Candidates may write AIEEE 2012 conformation page from: http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/Online/check.aspx your registration number and date of birth. Applicants must send the confirmation page along with original Demand Draft (if paid by Demand Draft) for "The Joint Secretary (AIEEE Unit), CBSE, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi 110 092" by Registered / Speed Post only on or before January 5 the 2012th

AIEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria:
The minimum educational qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is 10 +2 (Class XII) or equivalent. Appears candidates in 10 +2 final examination can also appear in AIEEE the 2012th
Inclusion criteria of the institution / university will be followed by the university / institution in accordance with the guidelines and criteria prescribed by the AICTE.
Candidates may attempt a maximum of 3 times for AIEEE. 10 +2 passed candidates in 2010 may appear in AIEEE the 2012th 10 +2 passed candidates in 2009 or before, will not be allowed to appear in AIEEE 2013 or www.aieee.nic.in the 2012th
Date of Birth applicants must fall on or after 1 October 1987 to appear in AIEEE 2012th SC / ST / PWD candidates get relaxation in 5 years (Birth Date 1 October 1982).
