NRHM Case: Sunil Verma Become Suicide in Lucknow

Mr. Sunil Verma, multi-crore National Rural Health Mission fraud, as was mentioned in the CBI case, together with the former Uttar Pradesh Minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, allegedly committed suicide today in his home by shooting himself with his licensed revolver.

The police here said 52-year-old Sunil Verma shot himself at his Vikas Nagar residence about 08.30. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

94 Indian Died in AMRI Hospital Fire - Directors in Police Coustody

Amri hospital Kolkata was the state of the art. It had some of the latest radiation therapy equipment in its Cancer Center. It offers luxurious suites for their wealthiest patients. It's trauma surgery unit was said to be one of the best in eastern India, as well as its highly efficient emergency.

But on Friday at the hospital, known as Amri, faced an emergency situation, as it seems to have no plan. An inferno in the basement of his transformed all hermetically sealed and air conditioned building into a giant pipe to a burning, smoky fires.

Major fire in AMRI Hospital of kolkata - 41 Feared Dead

There is still no clarity about what had caused the fire. Report says that many bodies have been moved to SSKM Hospital. Bodies were identified, but sources say some of the bodies were burned as they can not identify. Twenty people already died of suffocation in a massive fire that broke out in AMRI hospital in south Kolkata on Friday. Total 41 Feared Dead in this major fire, as report says.

Indian IT Minister Kapil Sibal's Web Monitoring plan

Union Communications and IT Minister Kapil Sibal Tuesday said the government would not allow objectionable content on social networks like Facebook and Google, which hurts the feelings of the Indians. He said that even though the government was not in favor of censorship, it would not allow such offensive content on social networks, that hurts our religious feelings.

The dispute highlights India's persistent difficulties in balancing the internet culture of freewheeling discourse with its home-grown religious and political sensitivity. Officials are wary of sites that are offensive to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's ruling Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi and great religious figures.

Brooke Mueller have in Police Custody for Drug Possession

Brooke Mueller is in trouble again with the law. Major problems.

Charlie Sheen ex-wife - and mother of his two sons were arrested Brooke Mueller last night in Aspen, TMZ reports. Law enforcement officials said Mueller was booked on suspicion of felony possession of cocaine, along with third-degree assault.

Indian Union minister "Sharad Pawar" Slapped

Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar was today beaten by a man at the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) center in New Delhi. The minister was attacked as he left the place after taking part in a literary function.

As his horrified mates watching and the cameras whirred, attacks Harvinder Singh went minister together with officials of NDMC center here. Pawar appeared to lose balance for a moment, but recovered quickly.

Sensex Down Over 4% During Week

India's main index ended the day with losses, continued their losing streak for the fourth consecutive week on the back of selling pressure from foreign funds and weak global cues. In the intra-day trading session witnessed much volatility of markets and the close was the 30-Share of BSE SENSEX fell by 163.06 points or 1.03% at 15,695.43. The broader S & P CNX Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed the day at 4,710.10 witnessed a fall of 46.40 points or 0.98%. The key benchmark index has lost over 4% during the week, mainly due to sales of foreign assets and rupee depreciation.

The SENSEX, which moved between 15,891.05 and 15,645.78, closed 163.06 points down at 15,695.43.

The broad-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also fell 46.40 points to 4,710.05, after touching the day low of 4,693.10.

J Dey Murder Case: Jigna Accused of Passing Information to Chhota Rajan

The Mumbai crime branch on Friday arrested 38-year-old journalist Jigna Jitendra Vora in connection with the murder of her husband journalist Jyotirmoy Dey (51), who was shot down 11 June in Powai. Vora, a crime reporter with a national daily, was produced before the Special Maharashtra fight against organized crime court for allegedly disclosing information about Dey movements to the Underworld Don Chhota Rajan.

She is the eleventh person to be arrested in the case so far. 15. August was the TOI the first to report on a possible involvement of a journalist in Dey murder of a story under the headline: "? Scribe dope helped Rajan plot Dey kill '

Besides MCOCA Vora has been booked under sections of the Indian Penal Code for murder, complicity and criminal conspiracy. She has been detained in police custody until Dec. 1, but her lawyer asked for judicial custody.
