Indian company Releases 'Tabplus Rio' 7 Inch Tab at Rs 10,200

Android 2.3-based tablet, Published by the Bangalore-based Digital Waves, has 1 GHz processor.

Digital Waves, a Bangalore based IT company, has announced the release of a new Android 2.3-based 7-inch tablet 'Tabplus Rio'. It is powered by 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor with built-Mali-400 graphics processor.

The 7-inch screen uses capacitive touch technology with 5 points touch. Tabplus Rio weighs 350 grams and measures 203 x 120 x 13 mm. The tablet running on Android 2.3 and comes with a memory of 512 MB DDR2, and storage up to 32 GB via Micro SD.

Sony Releases 2 Android tablets in India

Today Sony has launched two Android tablets for the Indian market, revealed Tablet S and P Tablet Sony 3G tablets, which will be launched in the middle of next month.

Tables creates with Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread, 1 GB RAM and 5-megapixel camera. Tablet S has 16 GB of internal storage and is available on both WiFi only [RS 29990] and WiFi 3G [Rs 33990] versions. The tablets also have a "fold" feature that lets users wirelessly synchronize tablet with DLNA-compatible devices, including PCs, Bravia televisions and other, thus giving them the opportunity to share and play the files - audio, video and photos - on larger screens.

Samsung Announces to Launch 11.6-inch Tablet

Samsung is ready to launch a Galaxy Tab product in February with a massive screen, according to a report. The company is ready to launch a new 11.6-inch tablet.

According to a new report on BGR, the Korean giant will be unveiled the 11.6-inch tablet running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system at Mobile World Congress scheduled for February 2012.

Ainol Launches world's first Android 4.0 Tablet at 99$

The world's first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet has gone on sale with Chinese manufacturer Ainovo take honors with a budget of 7-inch deal, the Ainovo NOVO7.

The NOVO7 is a seven-inch tablet that claims to be a full fledged Android 4.0 ICS dose. It is not driven by some ARM processors, and it does not have dual-or quad-core processors. Rather than operate with MIPS Technology XBurst 1GHz CPU. Rather than operate with MIPS Technology XBurst 1GHz CPU.

Amit Rohatgi, Mobile Principal Architect of NOVO7 say MIPS is a "game changer for mobile because it is lowering the price barrier for widespread tablet ownership.
