All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2012
AIPMT entrance examination which takes place in the 15% merit positions for medical / dental colleges in India as specified in the directive on the law and will be subject to the rules and regulations established for the same by the Indian Government, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from time to time . Responsibility for CBSE limited to the implementation of entrance examinations, declaration of the result and give the credit list of DGHS as per their instructions. Tips for successful candidates is conducted by DGHS. During counseling, criteria, various documents, etc. of the candidate verified and Medical / Dental College has been awarded a candidate for election.
The entrance examination consists of:
The preliminary Examination: the preliminary investigation will consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with one correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) to be answered on specially designed machine-level comfortable sheets with pen alone. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
Final Examination: (Only for those who qualify in the preliminary study). The final exam will consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions (four options with one correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) to be answered on specially designed machine-level comfortable sheets with ball point pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
